You shouldn't buy if Excellent sound, tough build quality and a good tange of features. The Uniti Star is a music system that can, and will, last for years.

If you don’t have similarly capable loudspeakers

There’s no doubting the talents of the Uniti Star, but to reveal those talents, you will need a pair of speakers that are just as talented.

Simon Lucas There are the obvious caveats here. But in this instance, it’s money invested. What’s more, it doesn’t have much in the way of obvious competition – especially not if the legacy CD drive/ripper is important to you. Of course, it’s possible to buy a system comprising of a CD player/ripper, streamer and amplifier without spending any more than the Star costs. And I don’t reckon it will have the sheer audio talent of the Uniti Star. Read more
