This title joins a growing number of animated, interactive books for kids that are appearing on the iPhone and iPad. It has been created by Chris Robertson, an Emmy nominated animator, and Frank Jr, the developer of many other childens eBooks.
The story is set in the Wild West and is all about a colourful character called TB Wiggly. There are Read to Me and Touch & Read modes as well as plenty of animations, sound effects and hidden activities on each page for children to explore. Kids can also colour-in several of the pages from the book and their handwork can be saved to the iPhone or iPad photo library and shared via email.
Verdict
This app takes a cute little story and adds enough extras over the top to keep even the most easily bored kids entertained.
