Some companies have cottoned on to the idea that simply stuffing adverts down people’s throats may not be the best way of getting their message across. Instead why not give people an app they want and blend the marketing message into it?
Sports Car Challenge
That’s what Volkswagen has done on a series of racing games that let you take its products for a sort of virtual test drive at high speed around various racing tracks. This latest game lets you take control of supercars from the Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Porsche marques, which all fall under the Volkswagen group of companies. You race the tracks as time trials only – there are no other cars on track – but it’s still a lot of fun and completely free!

Verdict

It has crackin’ graphics, is fun to play and doesn’t cost you a penny. What’s not to like?
