Sebo Airbelt E1 Pet – How does it cope with pet hair?
Having already proved its pet credentials on the stairs, the main Turbobrush head set to work on our carpeted test area. We have a 30cm patch of mid-pile carpet with a mix of fine collie and thick Labrador hair rubbed into the pile.
On full power using the Turbobrush head, the Sebo E1 Pet cleaned the bulk of the pet hair in a single pass. If it was just a weekly light dusting around the home you probably would not bother going over the area again. We gave it another pass to lift the last really deeply ingrained hairs and declared the area clean in a staggeringly quick five seconds.
In addition to its great stair cleaning abilities, we also found the small Turbohead ideal for the dog’s beds and the nylon carpet in the back of the car where the dogs sit regularly. While no cats, hamsters, rabbits or other household pets were available for testing at the time of the review, the E1 Pet is an outstanding all-round cleaner for homes with animals.

Should I buy the Sebo Airbelt E1 Pet?
The Airbelt E1 Pet from Sebo is one of our favourite cylinder cleaners to date. It’s light and manoeuvrable yet powerful and versatile all at the same time. The two Turbobrush heads for pet duties, low noise, Airbelt bumper and excellent edge cleaning simply add to its overall score, making the E1 Pet an outstanding all round cleaner.
It’s certainly a match for the likes of the Dyson DC54 Animal and Miele’s excellent cylinder range, including the Miele Complete C3 Cat & Dog. If you want a cylinder vac then there is few, if any, that are better.
Verdict
An outstanding bagged upright vacuum cleaner that tackles every eventuality with aplomb.
