All anyone really wants from a podcast app is something that makes it easy to both listen to and manage your favourite podcasts. Thankfully Pocket Casts comes up trumps on both accounts. Right from the start the app makes it easy to find podcasts that you want to listen to. You can just tap on the search button to sift through them by name or, alternatively, browse by popularity, individual categories or podcast networks.
Podcasts
The Pocket Casts servers keep track of new episodes so when you hit the refresh button the app doesn’t have to check across lots of different podcast networks, it just grabs the list in one go. The app also makes it easy to delete episode once you’re finished listening to them and the skip feature allows you to quick jump back and forward through podcasts.

Verdict

An attractive interface, great podcast management features and neat playback controls mean this is one of the best podcast apps on Android.
