Firefox has been around for a while on Android, but if you’ve tried it before and weren’t all that impressed, it might be time for you to give it another go, especially if you have an Android tablet. It’s because the latest version has been optimised for tablet devices, with full support for large screen sizes and a new UI designed to better take advantage of the extra screen space available.
One of the most noticeable additions is the thumbnail view of your open tabs that’s shown on the lefthand side to the screen when you hold your tablet in landscape mode. There’s also now better syncing between your desktop and mobile versions of Firefox, as well as an improved Awesome bar. It all adds up to a pretty impressive browsing experience.
If you have an Android tablet then you owe it to yourself to give this new version of Firefox a trial run.
