As you can see the Z85 has real problems with the fine detail. The anti-bird netting is barely visible due to image noise.Compare it with the 10 megapixel Pentax M60, which is about the same price.

The Casio’s lens produces quite a lot of barrel distortion at wide angle.

Centre sharpness insn’t too bad, but I’ve seen better.

Corner sharpness is terrible, but at least there’s not much chromatic aberration.
