As cases go, this certainly has the “Aw! Cool!” factor. It is very cleverly designed to look like a penguin, complete with a beady eye (courtesy of the iPhone camera) and bright beak. It even has two little flippers dangling from the bottom of the case.
The design is fantastic and is a delight to look at. It’s made of textured silicone so is easy to grip but doesn’t feel particularly clunky.
But it’s not perfect. There are quite a few annoying things about the Waddler Case. The whole bottom of the case is slightly saggy, and thin strip at the base can sometimes get in the way of the home button. The case appears to be going out of shape already, and whilst the flippers are an integral and cool part of the design, they do tend to get in the way.
The fantastic design might be enough to outweigh the annoyances…but only just.
