Can the shatterproof Moto X Force withstand 50 drops and hits?

Just how shatterproof is the Moto X Force?

Sitting alongside the Moto X Style, Moto X Play and Moto G, the Moto X Force might seem like your run of the mill flagship. It’s got a speedy Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM and a 21MP camera on the back. But, the killer feature here is the display.

Not because of the its quad-HD resolution, that’s fairly standard these days, but because of the tech used. Instead of a glass display, Motorola is using something it calls a ShatterShield panel. This is made up of an integrated system of five layers that will absorb shock and impact when you drop the phone on the pavement.
