While Eurovision 2025 is long done and dusted, you can still keep the party going with this party speaker from iKarao.
Never heard of iKarao? I can’t say I’d heard of them before we saw the speaker at Munich High End 2025, but you’ll be hearing more about the US brand as it continues its expansion into the UK market this year.
A karaoke speaker that does something different
Those models include the Ikarao Break X1, which I saw (and heard) on the busy showfloor of High End. In the US the Break X1 costs $699.99, and in the UK it matches the US price at £699. I was expecting less (in the region of £599), but over at Amazon there’s a £100 voucher available that brings it to £599.
What’s different about Ikarao’s Break X1 (and its other speakers) is that it comes with a 13.3-inch LCD touchscreen that can be used to cue up tracks and access apps such as Karafun (for Karaoke songs), YouTube and Spotify to play music straight from your account. I can’t think of a party speaker that has this type of feature.

There are two “professional grade” wireless microphones that you press down on and they spring forth from the case, so if you fancy yourself to be a singer worthy of the Eurovision stage, you can do a solo performance or drag someone else to do a duet.
The microphone also allows for custom sound effects to change the sound of your voice (such as reverb) and the battery for the mic is good for at least 30 hours of use. The speaker itself is good for 10 hours with its light show.
Impressive sense of value
Sony’s ULT Tower 9 speaker is one that supports a microphone but it’s an optional extra, and considering that speakers costs £599 and the microphone another £130 on top of that, you’re getting more value with this wireless speaker.
Throw in 460W of power, Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connectivity, USB, Aux in/out and an HDMI input for connecting it to a TV to put the lyrics on a bigger screen and I can see why this speaker (and brand) has become very popular over in the US.

There isn’t really a wireless party speaker, or at least one I can think of off the top my head, that offers the same level of features at the price it costs.
It’s on sale at Amazon UK now with the £100 voucher discount. If you’re a karaoke fan, the Ikarao Break X1 comes across as a very fun and convenient all-in-one party speaker.
