You can now read Taylor Swift’s tweets in Google search results

Google and Twitter have announced an alliance which will now see tweets showing up in Google search results on mobile devices.
For example, Android and iOS patrons searching for “Taylor Swift Twitter” within their mobile browser, or the dedicated search app, will now see some of her latest posts at the top of the results page.
The real-time results are displayed in a carousel similarly to results for movies, music and the like. Tapping the tweet will take users directly to Twitter’s mobile website whether they’ll be able to interact with it.
It isn’t just tweets from individual accounts either, the new deal makers it’s also possible to search hashtags like #MadMenFinale and trending topics like the NBA Playoffs and receive contextual information from Twitter.
In a post on the official blog, Google senior product manager Ardan Arac wrote: “
Right now it is available on iOS and Android in the English language, while desktop access and more languages will roll out ‘gradually.’ Arac said.
Twitter’s Jana Messerschmidt added: “By deeply integrating Twitter’s real-time content into Google search, we hope you find it easier than ever to explore your interests across both Twitter and Google.”
