XCOM is free to play this weekend or just £3 to buy forever

XCOM is free to play this weekend on Steam, but you could pay just £3 and own it forever.

Starting now and running until Sunday September 13 you can play an unlimited amount of XCOM: Enemy Unknown for free.

But, if you’re really enjoying XCOM you might want to hit that purchase button before the end of play on Sunday.
That’s because XCOM: Enemy Unknown is just £3.74 this weekend. And it’s the perfect way to get yourself prepared for the delayed release of XCOM 2 in February.

That price is also the same for its Enemy Within expansion too as well as the other expansions.

Heck, you can even buy the Complete Pack for a bargain £5.

If you pre-order XCOM 2 now you will get access to the Resistance Warrior Pack, which offers additional soldier customisation options such as bonus outfits and facial war paint, as well as a Survivor of the Old War, who will instantly show up as a new recruit in the Avenger’s barracks.

There’s also Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row 4 available via the Steam free weekend, with both available for a discount price until the end of Sunday too.

The Saints Row freebies are accompanied a sale that spans the entire franchise.

Every Saints Row game is being offered for 80 per cent of its original price, apart from the most recent entry Gat Out of Hell, which is 50 per cent discounted.

All of the DLC for Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row 4 is also on offer for 50 per cent off.
