XCOM 2 patch will finally address performance issues

The first major patch for XCOM 2 is now available for download, Firaxis Games has announced.
The update is set to improve performance and fix a number of bugs and balance issues reported by players since release.
“This patch introduces new fixes, balance tweaks, and several performance optimizations in the game that should improve framerates and in-game delays overall,” Firaxis explained.
“Zip mode” has also been added, a new feature that allows for a faster paced experience. Players will be able to speed up animations and character actions whenever they please.
