Xbox One Tour dates confirmed by Microsoft

With the Xbox One release date now just a little over a month away, Microsoft has confirmed Xbox One Tour dates which will see the console travel the country ahead of launch.

Letting gamers get their mitts on the next-gen console prior to its eagerly awaited release next month, the upcoming Xbox One Tour will see the PS4 rival take residency in London and Manchester, with the console being available for an early play between October 25 and November 27.

Dubbed ‘The One Tour’, the Xbox One showcase will give eager gamers the chance to play a range of next-gen titles, with Forza 5 on the pre-release hit list alongside Battlefield 4, Killer Instinct, FIFA 14, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome.

The One Tour provides the opportunity to put Xbox One directly into the hands of thousands of gamers from across the country and we can’t wait to let people try it out,” Marianne McLardy, UK Xbox Brand Marketing Manager said.

“With launch just a few weeks away, it’s the perfect time for fans to experience the blockbuster line-up of games coming to Xbox One from 22nd November – those that want to take part should register now to avoid missing out.”

Set to work on a first-come-first-served basis, Microsoft is allowing gamers to book Xbox One hands-on time slots via the Xbox One Tour website.

For those unable to make it to London between October 25 and November 3 and November 18 and November 27, earlier this week, retailer GAME announced  it would be holding Xbox One lock-ins throughout October and November.
