Xbox One price drops to £289 as part of Black Friday deals

This deal is now over, but GAME has a rather appealing £299.99 Xbox One bundle offer with four games here.

The Xbox One price has steadily tumbled down since its launch last year, and now the PS4 rival can be snapped up for just £289.

Dropping below the all-important £300 milestone for the first time, the latest Xbox One price cut is being offered by Amazon as part of its UK Black Friday deals.

Adding an extra cherry to the top of this wallet-friendly cake of a deal, the cut-price Xbox One comes bundled with a copy of Alien Isolation and an Xbox One controller.

If you’re keen to snap up an Xbox One at a bargain basement price, though, you’ll have to act quickly. At the time of writing, the Xbox One Lightning Deal has just 3 hours and 15 minutes left to run and just 62 per cent of stock remaining.

This £289 Xbox One price tag represents a £60 saving on the Microsoft-made console’s usual £349 fee.

As well as being a serious saving, the reduced Xbox One price sees the console line up £60 cheaper than its bitter rival the PS4.

Having been priced at a lofty £429 when first launched last November, the Xbox One has been forced into a number of price cuts in order to compete with the more popular PlayStation.
