Xbox One Preview access just got a lot more exclusive

Microsoft has just announced that access to the Xbox One Preview Programme is getting a lot more difficult.
The Xbox One Preview programme, which allows users to test out new features ahead of their public release, has always been difficult to get access to.
But now, Microsoft has announced that the program is nearly at capacity, meaning it’s going to be even more exclusive than ever before.
“Due to a tremendous response from our fans, the Xbox Preview program has reached a near-capacity level,” said a Microsoft representative in the Preview Program forum. “With that in mind, we are slowing the number of new people we are accepting to optimise for testing.”
“We are thankful for the amount of interest we’ve received to date and look forward to sharing more details on preview opportunities soon.”

One of the key features currently available exclusively in the Xbox One Preview Program is the Xbox One backwards compatibility, which allows you to play Xbox 360 games on your new console.
This feature won’t be rolled out to all Xbox One users until November with that major Xbox One update.
That will also be the update that brings the revamped Xbox One UI and when Windows 10 will land on the Xbox One.
Of course, with both those big changes, Xbox One Preview members will be able to try them first.
