Xbox One Elite Bundle announced for November launch

Microsoft has announced an Xbox One Elite Bundle for a November launch, alongside the Special Edition Lunar White Wireless Controller.

The Xbox One Elite Bundle is what Microsoft is calling the “ultimate gaming experience”.

The console itself features a black matte finish and comes with a 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive, which can optimise system performance.

Microsoft claims it can boot up from energy-saving mode 20 per cent faster than the standard black and white consoles.

Along with the revved up Xbox One, the Elite Bundle comes with the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller. Announced at E3 2015, the Elite Controller is a new performance-class controller compatible with Windows 10 and Xbox One.

It offers fully customisable features, interchangeable paddles, hair trigger locks, and an improved construction.

The Xbox One Elite Bundle will be available in the UK from November for £399.99. That’s actually quite the bargain, seeing as the Xbox One Elite Controller retails for £109.99 on its own.

Microsoft also revealed the Xbox One Special Edition Lunar White Wireless Controller. It utilises all the updated features of the standard Xbox One controller, but dons a white and gold colour scheme and improved grip.

It will be available from September for £54.99.
