Xbox One digital games prices announced

The Xbox One digital games prices have been revealed, alongside each title’s install sizes.

Microsoft briefly put the UK Xbox One digital games store live, but has since reverted to the older version of the site that directs gamers to the Microsoft Store to pre-order the titles.

That didn’t stop Videogamer from grabbing the full list of prices and install sizes of the Xbox One Day One titles.

It seems the average price for a digital copy of a third-party title will set you back a whopping £54.99, although this is the same official RRP offered in the Microsoft Store.

Blockbusters like Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 will all be listed for the premium price.

First-party, Microsoft Studios titles like Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome and Dead Rising 3 will cost £44.99, but bizarrely Zoo Tycoon retails for the slightly pricier £49.99.

You may think your 500GB Xbox One hard drive will keep you going for quite a while, but when you see some of the install sizes for these digital games, you may have to think again. For example, Forza 5 is a 31.76GB install on its own.
