This $1295 titanium iPhone X case makes Apple’s latest flagship look positively affordable
iPhones are about to get more expensive than ever before with the imminent release of Apple’s 10th anniversary iPhone X handset – and luxury cases have followed suit.
At $1295 (£982), the titanium Advent Aurora for iPhone X protector is nearly as expensive as the priciest Apple smartphone it could possibly be bought to keep safe – though ‘cheaper’ cases are available.

Gray’s limited edition Advent Aurora is made of aerospace grade 5 titanium, which is 2.5x stronger than stainless steel but only half its weight.
The material normally gets used in aviation or F1, rather than in protective cases for mobile devices, which is why it carries such an eye-watering price tag.

Each unit gets individually hand-torched to give the titanium a snazzy rainbow glow, and even has a unique serial number to serve “as a reminder of its exclusivity.”
