World’s first zombie-proof cabin hits Kickstarter
Double-decker buses have been overturned and the streets are overrun with zombies. What are you going to do? You should head for the world’s first zombie-proof cabin, that’s what.
The cabin was actually announced around this time last year, but now has come to Kickstarter. Instead of being available for any individual to buy, however, maker Tiger Sheds has teamed up with zombie survival experience day specialists Zombie Infection –
It will be used in either the disused factory in Sheffield or part of Sherwood Forest, both of which Zombie Experience use for its experience days.

Other than that, it’s the same cabin as before, built to house people for a fairly long time. It comes complete with a garden section to grow vegetables, a toilet system, roof deck, reinforced slit windows, walls and doors, barbed wire surround, a storage area for weaponry, kitchen area and microwave, and living room with TV, Xbox and turntables. Even if there wasn’t a zombie infestation, we’d be quite happy whiling away a few hours there.
Of course, this is all providing it reaches its funding goal, which is a way off yet. It’s only raised £82 of a £120,000 goal. You can pledge support from as little as £2, or pay £60 and get a full tour of the completed cabin. It should be finished this time next year.
