Watch: This could be best Apple Pay ad yet

Since its launch, Apple Pay has sparked plenty of great bank-led advertisements, but the best we’ve seen comes from down under.

Australian bank ANZ has just unveiled a TV ad for its Apple Pay launch – which began on April 27, 2016 – and it’s hilarious.

The motif is, as usual, split between the revolutionary idea of paying with your phone, and the exceptional ease of doing just that.

Apple Pay was first announced way back on September 9, 2014, at the launch event for Apple’s iPhone 6.

The service eventually rolled out to the UK in July 2015, and is now operational in a growing roster of countries that includes Canada, China, Singapore, and Australia. Hong Kong and Spain are also due to get Apple Pay support in 2016.
