The Samsung Galaxy Premiere 2014 event taking place at New York’s Madison Square Garden starts on Friday at 12am UK time. Here’s how to tune in to get a first look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets
Samsung is set to launch two new tablets as part of a new Galaxy Tab S range with the Tab S 8.4 and the Tab S 10.5 tipped to top the bill.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S features
As indicated by the ‘Tab into colour’ tag line in the invite, the 10.5-inch and 8.4-inch tablets are expected to include QHD AMOLED displays with a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution display.
In terms of dimensions, the 10.5-inch model is expected to be 6.6mm thick
with a weight of just 465g. The 8.4-inch slate is set to weigh in at
lightweight 287g.
The new slates could also include Samsung’s octa-core Exynos 5420 CPUs, an 8-megapixel main camera, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera and as the alleged leaked image below suggests, will follow the Samsung Galaxy S5 in getting a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button.
Other rumoured features include the Galaxy Tab S range adopting the new Magazine UX over Android 4.4 KitKat as found on the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2.
It has been suggested that the tablets will be available to pre-order the next day after the event.
