Watch the opening mission for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered

The opening moments from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered are a gorgeously nostalgic treat.

Those hardened fans among you will be aware that Modern Warfare Remastered is available to those who pre-order the Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare.

Not only will you have access to 10 remastered multiplayer maps, you will also be able to play through the entire single-player campaign with a shiny new coat of paint.

The above video follows Captain Price and friends through “Crew Expendable,” the opening mission to Modern Warfare that sees you infiltrate an Estonian freighter in search of potential nuclear materials.

It is clear that, beyond visuals, gameplay remains largely untouched from the original experience. This should be ideal for fans who just want relive the 2007 classic without any major changes.

The worldwide multiplayer reveal for Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered is set to take place at Call of Duty XP later this year.

Pre-order: Call of Duty – Legacy Edition at (£69) | ($79)
