Watch: Ghostbusters (2016) trailer is missing one major thing

If there’s something strange in your neighbourhood, it’s probably time to watch the very first Ghostbusters (2016) trailer.

Sony Pictures has released the first official trailer for the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, and it’s available to watch online right now.

Check it out:

Did you notice anything missing? Men. Aside from a few ghouls, the trailer is almost entirely populated by females.

That’s because Ghostbusters is taking a new spin on the 80s classic, with a refreshed female cast that includes Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones.

The film is set thirty years after the original movie, but it follows the same basic structure. Ghouls are terrorising Manhattan, New York, and it’s up to the scientists to deal with it.

The movie, which is directed by Paul Feig, is scheduled for a July 15, 2016 release – that’s moved from the previously planned date of July 22.
