Watch Dogs 2 protagonist revealed, according to instagram leak

An LA-based motion capture actor has posted what appears to be the main character from the unannounced Watch Dogs 2.

First spotted by NerdLeaks, the post first appeared on Instagram back in April, with the actor saying he had just wrapped up work on the project.

“Had a blast doing motion capture work as the lead character in a new video game series! (= #actor #motioncapture #artist #videogames #ps4 #xbox #art #work #comingsoon #WatchDogs2”

The image has since been deleted, and the actor’s account locked following its emergence online. However, you can still view a cached version of the account.

Ubisoft is yet to officially announce Watch Dogs 2, but many suspect it will be revealed at E3 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise will not see a release this year, so it would make sense for a game like Watch Dogs 2 to fill such a gap in the publisher’s Winter schedule.

We’ll likely hear more in the coming weeks, and will be sure to update you when we do.
