Customers rewarded when spending certain monthly amounts.
There are a number of things a Google search for ‘Virgin Addict’ could turn up, but today sees a new one that won’t get you fired…
Virgin Mobile has launched ‘Addict’, an interesting new Pay As You Go tariff which gives customers ”unlimited” texts and mobile Internet access if they top up with £20 or more each month.
Naturally enough the usual ‘fair usage’ policy applies but with texts limited to 3,000 and daily web access capped at 25MB you shouldn’t be hitting any unexpected road bumps. Furthermore, Virgin has staggered the tariff so just £15pm will bring 600 free texts and £10pm 300 free texts. Daily web access is charged at a very reasonable 30p. As for the standard rates, you’ll shell out 20p per minute in calls and 10p per text.
Why are The Saturdays pictured? Well the girl group with uncommonly large nasal passages has teamed up with Virgin to recreate the iconic Robert Palmer music video ‘Addicted to Love’. Yep, fine. Also an interesting fact about The Saturdays: throw in another 24 hours and they become a decent band.
The Addict tariff launches immediately with double top ups (rewards carried over to second month) during April. Not too shabby… unlike The Saturdays’ bloody awful Just Can’t Get Enough cover.
