Virgin Launches Recession Busting New Tariff

Comes with remarkably good choice of phones / smartphones too...

I’m not really the biggest fan of covering mobile phone tariffs but this may put a few more pounds back in your pocket…

Virgin has followed last week’s impressive PAYG Addict price with a new £20pm deal which bundles 400 anytime cross network minutes all with unlimited text messages and up to £100 back for customer trade-in handsets. The best bit however are the mobile phones on offer:

Going free on the deal are no less than the excellent Nokia E63 (above) and Sony Ericsson W595 plus the perfectly decent Nokia 6220 Classic and five megapixel Samsung Classico. If you ask me, I’d go for the E63 every time though the Classico does a good job of being an i8510 ‘lite’.

”In related news” Virgin has also launched ‘V Stuff’ a free new service for its home broadband subscribers which allows them to backup and store documents and photos as well providing free prints for up to 12 months. Allowances differ depending on whether you’re an L (10Mbit), XL (20Mbit) or XXL (50Mbit) subscriber but all seem worthy of investigation if you aren’t already hooked to another specific service.

Time for a hug Virgin.

(does that sentence…? Nevermind).
