Vine arrives on the Apple Watch, spawns Infinite Loop gags

Twitter-owned video app Vine is finally making its debut on the Apple Watch.

The loop-happy app, first previewed at WWDC in June, takes advantage of the newfound ability to play videos within the watchOS 2 software.

Vine’s scaled back app (via the official Vine blog) for the wearable offers two sections for Featured and Favourites.

The former will show ‘hand-selected’ Vines from the comedy, music and sports sections.

Favourites will showcase content from Vine creators you’ve previously favourited using the main app.

You’ll also be able to Revine enjoyable clips directly from the watch face.

If you’re super concerned about how many loops your personal creation is receiving then you can also add a ‘complication’ to the watch face in order to keep track.

The Apple Watch version won’t be native and will require the latest version of the iOS app, which is also out today.

That version has a new feature enabling folks to swipe left in order to switch to a new Vine.
