Valkyria Chronicles Remastered firing onto PS4 this spring

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered is coming to PS4 in North America and Europe this Spring, Sega has announced.

We have some great news for fans of Valkyria Chronicles. Sega has confirmed that the WWII-inspired tactical-JRPG is coming to western territories this spring.

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will be coming exclusively to PS4, and will feature a host of upgrades and new features.

The updated release will support upgraded visuals and an improved framerate, running at a silky smooth 1080p/60fps.

Other than visual upgrades, the game will also include all of the game’s previously available DLC. These include: Hard EX Mode, Edy’s Mission, Selvaria’s Mission, and Challenge of the Edy Detachment.

Those who pre-order Valkyria Chronicles Remastered in North America will receive exclusive content and a Squad 7 Armored Steelbook.

None of these have been confirmed for Europe or the UK, hopefully we receive something equally as awesome.

Sega has said there will be a “limited number of launch edition retail copies,” so act fast if you want to grab a copy.

The original Valkyria Chronicles came to PS3 in 2008, and has since become a cult classic amongst hardcore JRPG fans.

Sega is yet to announce a definitive release date for the title, but we’ll be sure to update you guys when they do.
