US Election: Google may be the best place to follow Trump vs Clinton

Google has revealed how it will enable users will be able to follow the US election as the nation heads to the polls tomorrow.

A search for ‘election results’ will show a dedicated page where users can keep track of results from the presidential, senate, gubernatorial, congressional and all of the other state-based referenda.

The page will show the current progress toward the 270 Electoral College votes required to win the presidency, as well as the latest state-by-state results as they come in.  

In a blog post, Google says those results will be updated every 30 seconds and will be presented in 30 different languages.

Google, as it has been for the past several months, is also helping Americans find their nearest polling station.

The firm also says searches for “How to vote?” are up 233% on 2012.
