Until Dawn release date confirmed with new trailer

Sony has confirmed the Until Dawn release date with a brand new trailer for the game.
Until Dawn will launch in the UK and Ireland on August 28, arriving slightly earlier on August 26 in the rest of Europe.
To celebrate the release date announcement, developer Supermassive Games’ Pete Samuels revealed that Until Dawn will feature a brand new cast member.
“I’m also really thrilled to reveal a new cast member that you’ll be seeing in Until Dawn – Peter Stormare, who you might recognise from Prison Break, The Big Lebowski and (more recently) Arrow!”, explained Samuels. “He gave some incredibly powerful performances in the motion capture studio and you can tell from the end result in the game that he had some fun with the character. We couldn’t be happier to have him in the games and I can’t wait for you to see him in full flow.”
You can pre-order Until Dawn from today too, which will bag you an exclusive free bonus scene featuring new couple Matt and Emily.
There are three versions of Until Dawn available — the standard edition, extended edition and steelbook edition.

This interactive game follows the fate of eight friends who come up against a formidable foe who will make you make some life changing choices.
Originally destined for the PS3 as a special PlayStation Move title, Until Dawn is now a PS4 exclusive that makes special use of the DualShock 4’s light bar and other in-built features.
Through the night, any of the eight characters can live or die, depending on the choices you make. The game uses a special butterfly effect system that changes the outcome of the game as you wade through the moral dilemmas.
