Until Dawn finally coming to PS4

The long delayed Until Dawn is finally coming to the PS4, albeit re-written and re-focused for the new-generation console.

Developed in conjunction with Super Massive Games, SVP of Sony Worldwide Studios Michael Denny confirmed Until Dawn had been rethought as a PS4 exclusive.

Originally it was meant to launch as a PlayStation Move centric PS3 title, but now Until Dawn has been “re-focused and re-written for the PS4”.

Denny claims it will feature intuitive DualShock 4 controls rather than motion gaming commands, as it would have done previously.

We immediately got a Heavy Rain vibe from the initial descriptions of Until Dawn, which will be “full of choice and dramatic consequences”.

The basic premise is that eight friends are trying to survive a night from hell and all, some or none of the group could die.

Until Dawn will be launched in 2015 exclusively for PS4 and stars Hayden Panettiere, of Heroes fame.
