Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End to launch in March 2016

The Uncharted 4 release date has been set for March 18, 2016, complete with a collector’s edition and retailer exclusive bonuses.

The next entry in the critically acclaimed PlayStation franchise finally has a release date.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will launch on March 18, 2016 in Europe and North America.

Originally intended for release this year, developer Naughty Dog delayed the title to 2016 so that it would “not only meets the team’s high standards but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title.”

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will see the conclusion of Nathan Drake’s story unfold, bringing closure to an adventure that began way back in 2007 on the PS3.

Naughty Dog has said that the power of the PS4 has allowed it to “go crazy” with the title’s visuals, pushing past the constraints of previous console hardware.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is coming this October, a compilation of the first three titles, remastered for the PS4.

Hopefully that will be enough to tide us over for the eventual release of Uncharted 4 next year.
