UK Game Releases This Week: Witcher 3 Heart of Stone hits Xbox One, PS4 and PC

Welcome to our new weekly feature that runs down all the latest game releases coming your way each week.

This week we have an extra helping of Telltale with Minecraft: Story Mode and Back to The Future Anniversary Edition. The Witcher 3 makes a welcome return with its very first expansion, Hearts of Stone. JRPG lovers will want to get their hands on Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance as it lands exclusively on PS4 this week.

Minecraft: Story Mode – Episode One (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC)

This could be Telltale’s most unusual adventure yet, combining a world renown for its lack of storytelling with an episodic format that thrives on it. The first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode will follow the adventures of Jesse as he sets out to discover The Order of the Stone. We’re curious to see how Minecraft translates into point and click adventure, and what kind of story Telltale has in store.

The expansion adds over ten hours of new content to the game, including new characters, monsters and quests. There is even a new romance option, if you’re into that sort of thing.
