Ubisoft’s For Honor will have a single player campaign after all
Ubisoft’s upcoming swordfighter For Honor will have a fully-fledged single player campaign, Ubisoft Montreal has confirmed.
Many were doubtful about whether For Honor would include a single player mode, following a strictly multiplayer reveal at E3 2015.
Rest assured, as Ubisoft Montreal has confirmed that it will include a single player campaign in the upcoming slasher.
“One of the big questions we receive is about a solo campaign,” said producer Stephane Cardin in a recent video.
“We said that we will have a single[-player] campaign, and I can promise you that we will have a solo campaign.”

The studio isn’t in a position to show off the solo campaign just yet, so expect more later this year.
“It’s one of the key subjects we’re working on on the floor,” Cardin explained. “I can’t wait to show stuff to you guys and we’ll do it as early as possible like we did with the multiplayer.”
For Honor’s solo campaign may have a similar style to games like Titanfall, where the narrative is integrated into the multiplayer in some way.

For Honor was first announced at E3 2015, and at the time, it seemed to be a multiplayer only title.
Multiplayer will likely still be the main focus, but fans of playing solo also have something to look forward to.
For Honor is scheduled to launch later this year for PS4, Xbox One and PC. You can check out our E3 preview here.
