Titanfall Xbox 360 release delayed again

EA Games has announced the Titanfall Xbox 360 release date has been delayed again.

Xbox 360 gamers desperate to get their hands on Titanfall will now have to wait until April 11 in Europe, or April 8 in the US.

“I’ve been playing the game a lot, and it is fantastic. But we see a few things that can be made even better, so we’re giving Bluepoint a little more time to do just that and deliver an epic Titanfall experience for Xbox 360 players,” said EA Games Executive VP, Patrick Soderlund. “The game will feature the same 6×6 gameplay, maps, modes, weapons and Burn Cards as the Xbox One and PC versions of the game.”

The Xbox One and PC editions of Titanfall were released on March 14 in the UK, but the Xbox 360 version was pushed back until March 28 originally.

Although the Xbox One and PC versions are made by Respawn, the Xbox 360 game is in development at Bluepoint. The original delay was to give the developer more time to polish the final game.

“To give them the time they need to put the finishing touches on the current-gen version of the game, we are moving the Xbox 360 ship date to March 25 in North America and March 28 in Europe,” said the official statement at the time.

However, it seems that Bluepoint need a little more time in order to perfect the Titanfall Xbox 360 experience and make sure it matches that offered on PC and Xbox One.
