Titanfall: “Big surprises and news” teased for VGX on December 7

Respawn will be offering “big surprises and news” surrounding Titanfall at VGX on December 7.

Previously known as the Spike VGA Awards, VGX will be host to new and exciting information on Titanfall next month.

VGX host Geoff Keighley took to Twitter to tease the Titanfall announcements from Respawn.

“Excited to announce that Titanfall is coming to VGX. Big surprises and news from @respawn on December 7. Don’t miss it”, tweeted Keighley.

Other huge title expected to be given time at VGX include Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, an Xbox One and PS4 version of the March 2013 reboot and potentially Fallout 4, for a which a teaser site is counting down until mid-December.

Respawn recently announced the Titanfall release date will take place on March 14 2014 in the UK and will arrive on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

“Since we revealed the game in June we’ve been absolutely blown away by the reaction to Titanfall,” said Vince Campella of Respawn Studios. “The feedback we’re getting from fans around the world is fuelling our team as we head towards March and motivating us to deliver an experience that lives up to the hype.”

Titanfall is a huge, online-only FPS game that will require you to take control of either a free-running pilot or dwell within the mech-style walkers known as titans.

“Set in the near future on a distant frontier torn apart by war, Titanfall drops players in the middle of a conflict between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) and the Militia. The action is rapid and varied – featuring parkour-style wall running, massive double jumps and the ability to hijack titans.”

You will be able to switch between pilot and titan to mix the gameplay up a bit and use their benefits to adapt to the changing situations.
