Titanfall 2 could come to PS4, teases EA

EA Games has suggested Titanfall 2 may not be an Xbox One exclusive.
The next Titanfall game may come to more platforms than Xbox One in the future.
Speaking during the Technology, Internet and Media Conference, EA Games CFO Blake Jorgensen suggested that other platforms may see a Titanfall release.
Jorgensen said Titanfall 2 would “probably” happen, but not before adding that gamers using other platforms would be able to play the game.
“Last year it was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven’t yet announced, but we’ll probably have another Titanfall game,” said Jorgensen via IGN.
Titanfall was released in March 2014 as one of the first Xbox One exclusives, alongside an Xbox 360 and PC release.

Rumours about a Titanfall sequel have been circulating since the game was released last year, and all of them have indicated that the game will come to PS4, Xbox One and PC simultaneously.
Just after the first game was released, EA Games secured the rights to create a Titanfall sequel – but the rights aren’t as clear-cut as for the first game.
It’s possible that PS4 and potentially Wii U gamers too will get a piece of the Titanfall 2 pie come launch.
Prior to that, Jorgensen himself said that any potential sequels for Titanfall could “for sure” fall under multiplatform umbrella.
Prominent games industry analyst Michael Pachter also supported the idea of a multiplatform Titanfall:
“I think this might be the last exclusive you see for a long time that’s third-party,” said Pachter at the time.
