NME is giving away 3-month Tidal memberships for free

Tidal might not offer any free subscription tiers, but that doesn’t mean you can’t bag a cost-free membership.

NME is offering its readers three months of Tidal completely for free. Normally you just get a month.

The music magazine has partnered with Tidal to offer a “complimentary trial” of the platform.

To activate the Tidal Premium trial, head over to Tidal.com/NME.

Tidal currently offers over 40 million songs, plus 90,000 music videos.

Unlike Spotify, there’s no free access tier, with pricing starting at £9.99 per month.

The service was relaunched earlier this year after being acquired by Jay Z, and currently boasts over 580,000 paying users.

Tidal is available in 46 countries globally, and works on Windows, OS X, Android, and iOS.

It’s also fully functional with Sonos, as well as 15 other home audio vendors as “integration partners”.

We gave Tidal an 8/10 in our review, praising its sound quality, slick apps, strong catalogue of music, great curated playlists, and non-music content.
