Three Feel at Home expanded to Spain and New Zealand
Three’s push for free international calling continues with two further countries now added to the network’s brilliant Feel at Home service.
Bringing the total number of Feel at Home nations up to 18, from today, April 1, Three customers visiting Spain and New Zealand will be able to make and receive calls, send texts and even browse the web, all without incurring excessive charges.
Instead, phone usage in these countries will now simply be deducted from your existing price plan allowances, as if you were still in the UK. What’s more, if you’re calling non-UK numbers whilst on your travels, call charges will incurred at a reduced roaming rate.
Feel at Home can be used by all pay monthly, PAYG and SIM-only customers with inclusive allowances.
According to Three, the addition of Spain and New Zealand sees Feel at Home now cover 65 per cent of the UK population’s holiday destinations.
The network isn’t done there, however. Three CEO, Dave Dyson, has suggested he wants the service to one day become a globally encompassing platform.
“Feel at Home is already hugely popular with more than a million of our customers enjoying its benefits since launch,” he said.
“
Dyson added: “My ambition continues to be to eliminate excessive roaming charges globally and we’re working hard to open up even more opportunities for our customers to stay connected and enjoy their phones whilst they’re abroad.”

A proposition unique to Three, Feel at Home should help hundreds of thousands of holiday makers avoid bill shock this summer.
Spain and New Zealand join France, Switzerland, Israel, Norway, Sri Lanka and Australia in being Feel at Home covered countries.
The other nations included in the Three deal are Finland, Indonesia, Macau, Italy, Austria, Hong Kong, Sweden, Denmark, the Republic of Ireland and – perhaps best of all – the USA.
