This might be the closest we get to a Star Wars: Rogue One video game
EA has announced the Rogue One-themed expansion pack for Star Wars: Battlefront will arrive on December 6, just in time for the release of the eagerly-anticipated franchise spin-off.
Rogue One: Scarif, which is the last Season Pass release for the DICE-developed multiplayer title will enable Battlefront gamers to play as new hero Jyn Erso and antagonist Orson Krennic.
The content, which predates the movie’s release on December 16, will introduce four new maps on Scarif. You can get a glimpse in the trailer for an Ultimate Edition of the game featuring all four DLC packs below.
There’s even more good news for Battlefront owners who’ve invested in a PlayStation VR headset.
The PSVR-exclusive X-Wing VR Mission experienced promised by Sony months back will also arrive on December 6.
It’s a free download for any PS4 owners who bought the game.
