There’s officially a female version of Link in Hyrule Warriors Legends

Nintendo has announced that there’s an official female version of Zelda’s Link in Hyrule Warrior Legends.

Upcoming 3DS spin-off Hyrule Warriors Legends will officially introduce a new female character – a new version of lead hero Link known as Linkle.

Yes, you read that right. Linkle.

She’s similarly green-capped, uses dual-wield crossbows and features blonde pigtails and a similar emerald attire.

Hyrule Warriors Legends is the expanded release of Zelda x Dynasty Warriors title Hyrule Warriors, and is due to be released on March 25.

Linkle is just one of five new characters set for the game, joining The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker’s Toon Link, King of Hyrule and Tetra.

The latter is a pirate version of princess Zelda.

Skull Kid is the final addition, from N64 Majora’s Mask, which was remastered for the 3DS earlier this year.
