The Sims 4 Mac system requirements confirmed
EA Games has confirmed the minimum system requirements for The Sims 4 on Mac.
Ahead of the game’s release on Mac later this month, EA Games has revealed the minimum requirements necessary to run The Sims 4 on an OS X device.
Although The Sims 4 was released on PC at the beginning of September last year, the game hasn’t yet made the move to Mac.
EA Games confirmed in January we should expect the Mac port to land in February.
However, although we don’t know the official release date, at least we know what specs our Mac needs to be in order to run the game.
The minimum Sims 4 Mac system requirements are as follows:
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.7.5 Lion
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz Processor or better
RAM: 4GB of RAM
Hard Drive: 10GB of free space, plus an extra 1GB for custom content and game saves
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT, ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro or better
Video RAM: 256MB
Input: Keyboard and mouse
Internet connection required for game validation

When the Mac version arrives anyone who owns the PC version of the game will get a copy of the Mac version for free.
As for pricing for anyone who only wants the Mac version of The Sims 4, all that we know is that it will be “priced similarly” to the PC edition.
That may well mean £59.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition or £49.99 for the Standard Edition.
