The Sims 4 Get to Work EP coming to Mac and PC in April

The Sims 4 Get to Work EP will be released on PC and Mac this April.

EA Games and Maxis have announced the first Sims 4 expansion pack will arrive sometime in April for both PC and Mac.

In the first expansion pack for The Sims 4, you will be able to take control of your Sims’ careers with three new options:
1)    Scientist – You’ll be able to conjure up bizarre inventions or wild creations in the new Scientist career track.
2)    Doctor – You’ll be tasked with saving Sim lives and delivering new borns if you choose to be a Doctor.
3)    Detective – Or lastly, you can play Sherlock Holmes with the Detective career track as you’ll need to investigate crime scenes and solve the big criminal cases.

If none of those careers take your fancy, you can create any number and type of retail businesses you and your Sims desire – including bakeries, clothing boutiques, bookshops and art galleries.

The Sims 4 Get to Work will also add brand new career venues and neighbours like the Hospital, Police Station and Science Lab with brand new objects your Sims will need to use to help them achieve career success.

Of course, with new jobs come new skills. You’ll be able to make your Sims proficient in the new Baking and Photography skills by capturing the perfect snapshot or creating and decorating the best cupcake.

Finally, Get to Work will add something a little extraterrestrial to The Sims 4 – aliens. You’ll be able to discover which of your Sims’ friends and family are not of this world, and also take a look at the Alien dimension.

The Sims 4 Get to Work will land for PC and Mac in April, priced at the rather steep £29.99 via Origin.
