The Last Guardian finally showcased for PS4

Sony finally lifted the lid on The Last Guardian for PS4 during its E3 2015 press conference.

A story of friendship and exploration, The Last Guardian has been on the cards for a long, long, long time.

Coming to PS4 in 2016, some of us can’t quite believe that The Last Guardian is finally here.

You play as a young boy who is accompanied by a strange creature, which is akin to a griffin crossed with a mongrel dog.

Together you need to work out how to solve the environmental puzzles around you. Thankfully, your pal will help you overcome some of the larger obstacles.

Directed by Fumito Ueda and in development at the Sony Japan Studio, we’re thrilled to see The Last Guardian in the pixels at last.

During the demonstration at E3 2015, you see the creature helping our hero across gaps by grabbing him by the back of the robes.

While at other times, the guardian’s weight can be used to trigger switches and manipulate the scenery.

Of course, our young hero can also clamber aboard the Guardian to reach new locations.

We’ll bring you all the latest on The Last Guardian as it happens at E3 2015.
