There’s a new Google Photos ad campaign that makes fun of the iPhone for running out of camera roll storage space at memorable moments. You may have seen it, it’s pretty funny. If not, it’s below.
Anyway, if the latest rumours are to believed, iPhone 7 users are going to have to be pretty snap-happy to ever run out of built-in storage on the top-end device.
Once again it has been suggested the iPhone 7 will come with a 256GB option, while the 16GB and 64GB storage tiers will be consigned to history.
A purported spec sheet detailing the innards of the iPhone 7 suggests the three configurations will be 32GB, 128GB and 256GB with the drives built by Toshiba.

While we’re unsure of the source for this leak, it’s certainly not the first time we’ve received word the iPhone 7 may have a bumper storage option.
A 256GB model, which would likely come at a heavy premium, would certainly be of use to those adverse to storing their photos, data and music on the cloud.

Apple looks set to release the iPhone 7 during the third week of September, with a launch event tipped for September 7.
