The Bioshock Collection could be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC

The Bioshock Collection may be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC, according to a new post by The Brazil Advisory Ratings Board.

Publisher 2K could be bringing the Bioshock franchise to a new generation of consoles. First appearing on Raru in 2015, The Bioshock Collection has now been rated in Brazil.

The collection is rumoured for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC (via Gematsu), and will compile the original Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite.

Chances are the collection will involve updated visuals, higher framerate/resolution and some subtle gameplay tweaks like many other remasters.

This will be the first time each game in the franchise will be available on modern systems, with the exception of Sony’s Playstation Now service.

Microsoft has confirmed that each game will be coming to Xbox One via the console’s backwards compatibility feature.

2K Games hasn’t announced anything regarding the collection as of yet, but we’ll keep you updated.

The publisher is no stranger to compilations though, having released Borderlands: The Handsome Collection back in 2015 for PS4 and Xbox One.

Bioshock was considered a modern classic when it launched in August 2007, which was almost ten years ago.

The release of a remastered collection could potentially introduce the franchise to a whole new generation of gamers.

We certainly wouldn’t mind another trip to Rapture either.
