The Beatles coming to a streaming service near you Christmas Eve

The Beatles are finally making their entire catalogue available to stream across a variety of subscription services from tomorrow, Christmas Eve.

It’s been impossible to listen to The Beatles on Spotify, Apple Music, and other music streaming services up to now. That’s about to change.

Earlier in the week, a report emerged claiming that one of the last, and certainly the biggest, streaming holdouts would be relenting for Christmas.

Now, over on the official Beatles website, it’s been confirmed that the band’s extensive back-catalogue will be hitting a variety of streaming services from 00:01 local time on December 24.

The Beatles website is offering a live update of which territories currently have access to their music with a nifty rotating globe graphic. Yep, our lucky cousins in New Zealand currently have access to Sgt. Pepper, The White Album, Revolver and co.

The site lists Spotify, Apple Music, Slacker, Tidal, Groove, Rhapsody, Deezer, Google Play, and Amazon Prime as services that will offer these sought-after tracks.

Also worth noting is the fact that these will involve the digitally remastered versions of all 13 Beatles albums, which were originally (re)released all at once back in 2009.

If that doesn’t make you happy this holiday period, we don’t know what will. Okay, so spending time with all your friends and family and stuffing your face might do it. But still: The Beatles!
