The Barisieur will wake you up with the smell of fresh coffee

While we have no official data to draw from, we’d estimate 86.85 per cent of household burns come while fumbling to make coffee in the morning.
Now The Barisieur, a coffee and tea machine baked into an alarm clock, is coming to the rescue.
The machine requires users to routinely set up the water and grounds/leaves before going to bed.
Users can set the alarm time and the brew time before going to bed.
The smell of the brewing coffee will gently “stimulate the senses, leading to awakening” according to UK-based inventor Joshua Renouf.

Users are also be able to charge their smartphone during the night using the USB port.
As for the coffee and tea itself, well, the boiling vessel is heated by an induction hob, while steam pressure forces it through a stainless steel filter and through the grounds.
A small milk vessel lifts out of the tray and is cooled overnight thanks to the built in peltier cooler. There’s also a sealed removable drawer to keep sugar and grounds.
The device, which has been years in the making, is now racking up the contributions on Kickstarter.
It has raised $222,000 of its $555,225 funding goal with 25 days left to go.
