Stunning LG OLED TV walks away with TV gong at the #TrustedReviewsAwards
LG has come out top in the TV of the Year category at the 2015 TrustedReviews Awards.
The LG 65EC970V took the award in a section that also saw Sony and Samsung vying for the accolade.
With its curved 4K OLED screen offering unprecedented black level response and an acclaimed 3D experience, the 65EC970V offers all that anyone could want from a TV.
Sony’s KD-759405C and Samsung’s UE65JS9500 offered tough competition in the TV category but it was LG’s attention to design, as well as its outstanding OLED screen, which swung it for the Korean firm.
Reviews Editor for TrustedReviews, Alastair Stevenson, explained why the TV deserved the prize: “The OLED display really does set the LG model apart from the competition. It looks outstanding and it contributes to the look of the TV, allowing for a super slim design as well as great visuals.”
“Add to the great screen a fantastic Harman Kardon-designed speaker system and possibly the best 3D picture quality we’ve seen, and there was no question that the LG model was going to take this one.”
